Main Street Restaurant Health Code Violations Increase Between 2013 and 2014
IN 2013, THE newspaper did a comprehensive look at the restaurant inspection reports for Ann Arbor’s Main Street restaurants. The number of priority violations (violations, such as holding food at improper temperatures, or lack of handwashing), which can sicken diners and/or spread disease, increased significantly from 2013 inspection results. Priority foundation violations more than tripled. In our table of results, below, Main Street restaurants whose most recent health inspection reports included a priority violation are marked with an asterisk (*).
