A2 Virtual+ is offering information nights regarding online course offerings for summer and fall 2014, the enrollment process, and everything Ann Arbor parents and their students need to know to be successful when taking online courses. Additionally, those who attend one of the five informational meetings will learn how Michigan’s new online learning legislation impacts learning.
Parents now have the option to enroll students in grades 5-12 in two online courses per term. This flexibility allows students to accommodate a learning preference, recover credit, seek additional or advanced coursework or solve a scheduling problem. A2 Virtual+ can also be used when a student will be out of school for an extended period of time.
AAPS officials will hold information nights at the middle schools. The meetings are open to anyone in the district who would like more information.
All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m.:
May 8: Tappan
May 13: Scarlett
May 21: Forsythe
May 22: Clague
