Letter to the Editor: Coach Harbaugh Has His Opinion on Unplanned Pregnancy

How very generous of Coach Jim Harbaugh at the University of Michigan to offer to adopt the children of any of his football team member’s “unplanned pregnancies.”  Since all of them are male, and his wife seems to be okay with the idea, I guess he is doing his best to “support life.”

Will he and his wife pay for the ladies’ pre-natal care, housing, food, and other necessities? Will the football player’s family? Will the parents of the ladies involved agree with this? How very shortsighted of Harbaugh to not consider these other things, and people, when he “supports life.”

Will the child still be welcome in his home if it caused the death of the mother?  If it has severe or even mild birth defects and other challenges?  Wow. What a humanitarian.
