Automatic Data Processing LLC is cutting 16 additional positions, after announcing in September that it would let go about 79 employees as it closed its Ann Arbor office.
The facility at 175 Jackson Plaza will close around March 30, according to a notice filed with the state and sent to Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor on Monday. Taylor made no mention of the ADP closure at the Feb. 28, 2017 City Council meeting.
The original layoffs have occurred in stages over the past several months, and the added 16 will be let go over the course of two weeks starting April 28 — unless they find employment at another ADP location.
New Jersey-based ADP provides human resources management, benefits administration and other services to 650,000 clients in more than 110 countries. The company employs 56,700 and reported $12 billion in revenue in fiscal 2016.
